Accounting Service Pricing
Our accounting service consists of agreed core tasks and any additional services you require.
How pricing is structured
We perform all standard accounting tasks in accordance with the requirements and practices established in Estonia and internationally. We collect, deliver, and send documents; prepare and pay invoices and salaries; and communicate with suppliers and clients. We prepare annual reports (majandusaasta aruanded), statistical reports, travel and expense reports, and handle payroll and much more.
For non-VAT registered clients, we typically invoice once a year based on workload. You do not need to be a regular monthly client to order individual tasks. Services not covered by the monthly fee are invoiced separately. VAT is added to all prices.
What determines the price of accounting?
Let’s look more closely at the factors that shape the cost of accounting services in 2025:
- Company size — micro or small business, medium-sized, or large?
- Number of entries — a few transactions per month or around 200?
- Whether the company is VAT registered.
- Number of employees and therefore the number of salary recipients.
- Whether inventory management is required.
- Whether an online store exists and how automated it is.
- Volume of cash invoices.
It is important to understand that the price also depends on a combination of factors. Company size, VAT status, and entry volume may be identical, but the price can still differ — for example, one company may operate an online store while another does face-to-face cash sales.
What is included in the accounting service price?
Accounting service prices are typically structured either as a fixed monthly fee or based on the number of entries made. Just as the price per entry and monthly fee can vary depending on the client’s needs, so does what the final price includes.
Services typically included in the fee:
- All routine operations and entries in the accounting software
- Document sending, receiving, and drafting
- Invoice preparation and payment, including communication with suppliers and clients
- Salary payments and payroll calculations
- Cash accounting
- Fixed asset accounting
Services typically billed separately outside the monthly fee:
- Annual reports (majandusaasta aruanded), statistical reports, travel and expense reports
- Archiving
- Review and correction of accounting for previous periods
- Drafting of internal policies and work rules
- Other documentation — such as workplace rules, job descriptions, occupational health and safety documentation, etc.
You do not need to be our regular monthly client to request individual tasks. The most common one-off request from smaller companies is help with preparing and submitting the annual report.
How is pricing determined for homeowners’ associations (KÜ) and non-profits (MTÜ)?
Since accounting for homeowners’ associations (korteriühistu — KÜ) and non-profit organisations (mittetulundusühing — MTÜ) differs somewhat from standard business accounting, pricing is determined on different grounds.
Pricing for homeowners’ associations depends on the number of apartments. KÜ organisations vary greatly in size, but their accounting needs are similar. The main monthly task is calculating utility costs and generating invoices based on those figures. Issuing invoices to apartment owners or tenants based on expense documents is the largest single component of monthly KÜ accounting. Additional tasks — either included in the monthly fee or charged as extras — may include handling debtors, managing building income and expenses, fixed asset accounting, preparing reports for the board, drafting the annual report, and more. Pricing for KÜ accounting is based on the number of apartments, starting from €4 per apartment.
Pricing for non-profit (MTÜ) accounting depends on the organisation’s level of activity and needs. The most common practical arrangement is for MTÜ board members to manage day-to-day bookkeeping themselves and outsource only the annual report preparation and submission. This is because, while monthly bookkeeping may be straightforward for smaller non-profits, unlike micro and small companies, non-profit organisations are required to submit a full-length annual report — which can often prove too complex to handle in-house.
Why choose Mingelston?
Finding the best accounting service at the right price for you can be difficult. There are many providers, and often there is no option to meet face-to-face or via video — all interaction happens only by email. This means you are handing your company’s finances to someone you have never actually met. For this reason, choosing a provider based solely on price is not wise.
A good accountant today is far more than a narrow specialist. Developing bespoke solutions for clients, multilingual capabilities, financial and business advice, proficiency with modern software, and the ability to think outside the box — these are just some of the qualities that set us apart from competitors.
We provide accounting services to businesses, homeowners’ associations, non-profit organisations, and other legal entities with accounting obligations. You can contact us to start an ongoing monthly engagement or to ask for one-off assistance. Our pricing is tailored to your company’s specific needs.
Come for a free consultation in person or via Skype — let’s talk about your business and accounting. We will then give you a non-binding quote and the opportunity to put your accounting in safe hands.
